Ordering & Payment

How do I place an order?

+

Browse our full collection at The Collection, select your preferred frame, choose your size and colour, then add to cart. Proceed to checkout where you will enter your contact, shipping and payment details. You will receive an email confirmation immediately upon successful order placement.

What payment methods do you accept?

+

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. All transactions are processed via 256-bit SSL encryption for your security. We do not store card details.

Can I amend or cancel my order?

+

Orders may be amended or cancelled within two hours of placement, before they enter fulfilment. Please contact us immediately at info@pearlwaveglow.com with your order number and request. We cannot guarantee amendments after this window, but we will always do our best to assist.

Do you offer a price match guarantee?

+

As an independent curated house, we price our frames to reflect their true value — the quality of materials, manufacture and sourcing. We do not operate price matching as we do not carry frames that are available elsewhere. Every piece in our collection is exclusive to PearlWaveGlow.

Are gift wrapping and gift messages available?

+

All PearlWaveGlow orders arrive in our signature presentation box with a microfibre cloth and leather case. For gifting, you may add a handwritten card message at checkout. We can also ship directly to the recipient on your behalf — simply enter their address as the shipping address.

Do you have a physical store I can visit?

+

Yes. Our atelier is at 8 New Bond Street, London W1S 3SU, open Monday to Saturday 10:00–19:00 and Sunday 12:00–17:00. We warmly encourage you to visit — our team can assist with frame selection, fitting and any optical requirements in person.

Shipping & Delivery

How long will my order take to arrive?

+

UK orders placed before 14:00 (Monday–Friday) are dispatched the same day and typically arrive the following working day via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Express next-day delivery is available on all UK orders. International orders take 3–7 working days depending on destination.

Is shipping free?

+

Complimentary express shipping is included on all UK orders over £250. Orders below this threshold incur a flat £15 shipping fee. International shipping rates vary by destination and are calculated at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

+

Yes, we ship to over 40 countries worldwide. International orders are sent via tracked courier (DHL or FedEx) with full insurance. Delivery times and costs are displayed at checkout based on your address. Please note that customs duties and local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

How will I track my order?

+

Upon dispatch, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to monitor your delivery in real time. If you have not received your dispatch email within 24 hours of ordering, please check your spam folder or contact us.

What if my order arrives damaged?

+

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged in transit, please photograph both the packaging and the frames and contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange a complimentary replacement or full refund without delay.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?

+

We offer 30-day free returns on all items in original, unworn condition with all original packaging. Frames must be returned in the condition in which they were received — unscratched, with no signs of wear, and with their original leather case, microfibre cloth and box. See our full Returns Policy.

How do I initiate a return?

+

Email us at info@pearlwaveglow.com with your order number and reason for return. We will respond within one business day with a prepaid returns label. Simply package your frames carefully and drop off at any Royal Mail post office.

How long do refunds take?

+

Once we receive and inspect your return (typically 1–2 business days), we will process your refund within 3–5 business days. The refund will be credited to your original payment method. Bank processing times may add a further 2–3 days.

Can I exchange for a different size or colour?

+

Yes. We are happy to exchange frames for a different size or colourway within the 30-day window. Please contact us to arrange, and we will hold your preferred alternative while your return is in transit.

Are there any items that cannot be returned?

+

Frames fitted with prescription lenses at our atelier cannot be returned unless faulty. Limited edition frames and items marked as final sale are also non-returnable. All other items are fully returnable within 30 days in original condition.

Frame Care

How should I clean my frames?

+

Use only the supplied microfibre cloth for lens cleaning. For a deeper clean, rinse your frames under lukewarm water and use a small drop of mild soap on the frame (not lenses), then rinse and dry with the cloth. Never use paper products, clothing or chemical cleaners.

Can I wear my frames in the sea or pool?

+

Acetate frames may warp with prolonged exposure to salt water or chlorine. While brief contact is not harmful, we recommend removing frames before swimming and rinsing immediately if they come into contact with pool or sea water. Titanium frames are considerably more water-resistant.

My frames have become slightly loose — what should I do?

+

Hinges naturally loosen slightly with regular use. We offer complimentary in-store adjustment at our Bond Street atelier. Alternatively, any qualified optician can adjust the hinges and nose pads at minimal cost.

How should I store my frames?

+

Always store your frames in the supplied leather case when not in use. Keep them away from direct sunlight and sources of heat — never leave them on a car dashboard. Store lenses-up to avoid scratching.

Do you offer a repair service?

+

Yes. We offer repair and maintenance services for PearlWaveGlow frames at our Bond Street atelier. Bring or post your frames to us and our team will assess the issue and provide a no-obligation quote. Minor adjustments are complimentary.

Prescriptions & Optical

Can I have prescription lenses fitted?

+

Yes. Our optical team, led by a Fellow of the British Association of Dispensing Opticians, can fit prescription lenses into any frame in our collection. Visits are by appointment at our Bond Street atelier. Please bring your current prescription.

What lens types do you offer?

+

We offer single-vision, bifocal and varifocal (progressive) lenses in a range of indices and coatings, including anti-reflective, blue-light filtering, photochromic (Transitions) and polarised. Our opticians will advise on the most suitable option for your prescription and lifestyle.

How long does prescription fitting take?

+

The fitting appointment itself takes approximately 30–45 minutes. Standard prescription lenses are typically ready for collection or dispatch within 7–10 working days. More complex prescriptions or specialist lens treatments may take slightly longer — your optician will advise.

Can I use my own frame with your lenses?

+

We primarily fit lenses into frames purchased from our collection. However, we can assess third-party frames for suitability on a case-by-case basis — please contact us or visit the atelier for an assessment.

Do you offer eye tests?

+

We do not currently offer eye tests at our Bond Street atelier. We recommend visiting a registered optometrist for your sight test, then bringing your prescription to us for lens fitting and frame selection.

About Our Products

Where are your frames made?

+

Our frames are sourced from a carefully selected group of workshops in Italy (primarily the Cadore region and Lombardy), Japan (the Fukui prefecture, known as the world capital of eyewear) and France. Each atelier is visited personally by our buying team before we agree to carry their work.

What is the difference between acetate and titanium frames?

+

Acetate frames are crafted from cellulose acetate — a plant-derived material prized for its richness of colour, depth and warmth. They are slightly heavier than metal frames and offer an enormous range of pattern and colour possibilities. Titanium frames are exceptionally lightweight, hypoallergenic and extremely durable — ideal for those who wear glasses daily or have sensitive skin. See our Frame Guide for more detail.

Are your sunglasses polarised?

+

All PearlWaveGlow sunglasses feature UV400 protection as standard. The majority of our sunglass collection features polarised lenses; this is noted in each product description. Polarised lenses eliminate horizontal glare — particularly useful when driving or near water.

How do I find my frame size?

+

Our Frame Guide includes a comprehensive sizing section including how to measure your pupillary distance and face width. You can also look at the size of a current pair of glasses — the measurements are usually printed on the inner temple arm.

Do your frames come with a warranty?

+

All PearlWaveGlow frames carry a two-year manufacturing warranty covering defects in materials and craftsmanship. This does not cover accidental damage or normal wear. If you believe your frames have a manufacturing defect, please contact us with a description and photographs.
